    Hello,

Do you have some more pics.,from under the sweatband ?
I have a bad feeling when I see this cap
But please,if possible, post some more " under the hood " shots.

      Hi!

I hope something still can be seen. I have some bad thoughts about the eagle, or that is ok ?

Ok,here are the things I noticed,

First of all the eagle,I've never seen a tail that long ! Looks like a peacocks' tail
And yes,I forgot to tell you about the overhang on both the left and right side, that's no good...

Second,it looks like the piping ends come together here,if they are connected this way,I have a bad feeling, never seen it before...

        And last,the sweatband,is it just loose,or maybe replaced ?

The visor is the type used on army caps, but don't worry about that,I've seen it before on Luft.visorcaps.
I hope the visor isn't plastic ? hard to tell from the pics...

I'm not saying this cap is good or bad,we need some "under the hood" pictures to be sure 100%

Flip-up the sweatband and check for empty stiching holes.

Let's hear what the others think about this one.

If possible take 2-3 pics from under the sweatband, the way it's sewn to the cap and the visor,a clear shot of the place where the piping ends join and a close up of the eagle.

As Ray Romanos dad says, "Holy Crap"! I have never seen such a lack of overhang on any TR visor, real or repro!

That cap is as bad as the railway eagle in the background.

                        Exactly

Well you "hat experts" blew this one. That is a rare variant known as the "Long Tailed Pill Box Officers Visor" worn exclsively by Flak Officers serving on Flak Towers. Would you want burning debris falling from the sky and hitting that extra material on the sides? Of course not. And these Officers only rode around in Trains with chromed out railway eagles!

                          Hey Mr.Strangelove,

Go and write a book on visorcaps, I like your "knowledge" about the German visorcap !

You forgot to mention, Herr Strangelove, that the special trains were lowered and tricked out with chromed wheels and hydraulics...

                              Don

I personally do not like the cap - too many red flags for me to be comfortable with it.
