Does this camo cap stand any chance?

I just got this cap from Germany. I incidentally stomped on it and I thought it could be good for relic hunting.
It looks anyway genuinely worn, well tailored and with correct wartime italian camo pattern. No signs of insignias or stitching. I think it could have been for re-enactment?
I'm posting it here for reference and comments.

Im 99% sure that this is a repro but could the cloth itself be orginal? The seller told me it was made from a zeltbahn.
