opinion needed on strange lw cap

Hi Guys.....my friend found (bought) this cap......insigna seems to be a repro one...but the cap.....what is?...I think a postwar grenschutz...but not sure.....infos are welcome.....

Hi,The cap is West German with fake insignia.I have never seen a original WW2 M43 cap with a diamond in it,when these are upgraded with Third Reich insignia the diamonds are always damaged to remove the postwar markings.Jay Parisi

Hi!
I agree with the other guys. Absolutely post war cap with bad fake and awful insigna. Does not never product M43 style cap with 'diamond' inside.
Say to your friend to sent back the cap, if is possible !!!
