    Signal LW cap

    Hi everyone......
May I have some opinion about this Signal LW cap?
    I think it's a good one, but I can't recognize the maker.....
    Thanks

                      Hallo Giorgio

It seems to be the silver logo of HEINRICH BALKE of BREMEN.

                      best regards

                        Hi Enorepap,
thanks a lot for helping.......I hope this maker to be a good one (not a Fantasy or post war logo ............)
                        Thanks
                        Giorgio

                          Hallo Giorgio

I'm not in the position to speak about the originality of the whole visor, because I'm not a LW collector.

HEINRICH BALKE mutzenfabrik of BREMEN was established in 1888. They used the inscription DEUTSCHE WERTARBEIT above the stadtwappen (full version) with an H and B at the sides of the town’s key. The whole drawing (that remained quite unaltered also in the post-war production) is very attractive because it is printed, according to the period, in a wide variety of colours: silver/red; silver; white; gold/blue. In the post-war visors the logo is normally linked together plastic shields.

                          best regards
