    SS visor

I have only this picture (will post some more tomorrow!!) but you could you tell me more about the characteristics??

Good or bad one?? Early or late type?

    Its marked SS-BW (Begleidungswerk)...

Based on this one photo, I'd say bad. I'd also stay away from any caps with SS-BW stamps.

Even With Only One Picture, It Is Apparent That Both The Hat And Insignia Are Fake.

Lenny..FYI there are REAL hats that look very similiar to this covered in cloth visor (m37??)that are from 37-40 era to late period..an SS nco crusher so to speak with cloth instead of leather..Very desireable and quite rare to find originals..hope this helps!!Billbert

A real one is hardly ever found. I think I've only seen 1 in 6 years on the forum and only 3 in the whole time since I've collecting.

BenVK said it right when he said to avoid caps stenciled with SS-BW. The cap does not look promising even from just one picture.

Let's put it this way, I'd give my left nut to find one, especially an Officers version but I don't think it's ever going to happen, probably to the relief of my manhood!
