As John has said the medical grey is the color used by the DRK.

Why the Marinehelferin used this color, I really don't know, but I think that it was because most of the MH garments came from the Luftwaffe because the origin of this corp was the air report service of the LW, so were grey.

Find pictures or original pieces of MH with blue garments, apart of the bordmütze, is not easy, but they used also blue and field-grey items.

Lee, great thread idea, and great caps! I wish I could contribute, but unfortunately the only visors I have seen worn by females were for the Reichspost and Tram workers. Definately an under-appreciated field of collecting.

                              Hello,
I see that Luftanachrichtenhelferinnen had caps with yellow or red cord.
Do you know what was the diffrence between helferinnen who wore yellow and red cord? Did they have other duties or maybe the colour of cord depends on the war period?
                              Best regards,
                              Nela
