Transmission Off. cap discussion

I want to show you this my cap.It's about 30 years I hold ,it's one of my first visor hat.Lookin again on it I see two differences :
one is the different color of the fabric in the to of the hat,and also the color of the piping.
It could be the sun faded the colors.
The secon is how the lining is sewn to the hat.i never seen this way.
IMO the hat is original.
What do you think?

also the sweatband is non regular ,it seems a king of oilcloth,it's very hard and stiky
