I never see a tropical heer visor cap before if they realy any in existent out there I quess are very rare. from the pictures looks good to me but I don't like the way the piping is placed,le't see what the others has to say.

Never seen one like that before ... sorry. The cocarde looks fine, the eagle has quite an unsymmetrical swastika. The sweatband is clearly a later war Ersatz type. The patina makes an authentic impression on me.
I´m also excited to hear further comments.

An exceptionally rare cap, wow! and I like what I see so far. Where did you get this one from Ron?

One thing though, is that a hole I see in the pasteboard in the front? Evidence of a metal cockade?

Tropical Enineer Officer's Visor Hat

Hi,

I just have one observation and, believe me, I'm far from any kind of an authority on these things so, I'll willing defer to Ben's and the others opinions. Anyway, the actual visor itself, in comparison the rest of the cap sure seems to be in good, clean condition.
