Opinions on M38, Panzer, EM, OS Hat

I'm seeking opinions on this M38, Panzer Overseas Hat. I'm still trying to get pictures of the vent holes. All comments welcome.

The cap is salty and the interior looks new and i dont like that stamp

Thanks guys! I was thinking the same in regard to the mint lining and odd stamp. A typical hat produced before May1942 would have a maker stamp in there also.

Yeah, too bad about that lining 'cause it looks kinda good to me from the outside. Insignia/soutache are good and nicely applied. Need to physically handle these damn things from all angles.

this is a copy of a sprengpfell (hamburg 19) cap the interior gives it away other than that its a good effort. The only maker to have the double stitch at the front in my opinion.
