      Funny how looking for just the right cap for one's collection can be counterproductive. These KMs are a perfect example. I looked all over for an admiral (since I try to collect general officer caps) & couldn't find one. Passed over a few of these over the years for less money than this one set me back. Obviously, the longer you look the higher the price you have to spend so when Matt pointed this one out I didn't give it a second thought.

      My SOP now is buy the best example of whatever the heck you want NOW and then, as time & money permits, upgrade. Don't wait. Of course, the hard part is getting an emotional attachment to the stuff you bought earlier & having a hard time letting it go. Thankfully, I have only room for three cases (for caps) in my office so I have to chuck stuff to make room for the upgrades. (unless there were wire or wood, wall mounted cap holders..... )
