    SS Visor Hats (3) Original??

Hello, Someone I know is selling 3 SS visor hats. They are not in perfect shape as the photos show. I would appreciate anyones input as to if you believe any of the hats to be original. This is the photos he sent me, so if you need a couple more that are better let me know and I'll try to get them from him. Also, what do you think I should pay for each (what are they worth)? I only own one visor hat and it is a regular Heer Mountain one, so I am new to headgear. Thank you in advance.

Hi.. I can´t say if the cap is original or not, I think you need better pictures..
But I find it strange that the dirt is centered around the insignia, I have seen this before on tunics pretending to be more then they really are..

        Kind regards
        Jens

If all original, this seller has just offered you at least $30,000 worth of caps. Alarm bell 1. Where's the insignia? Most genuine collectors with real SS visors would have bought insignia for at least one of them before trying to sell. Alarm bell 2. All the caps have what seem to be the same artificial wear to the cloth around where the insignia should be. Alarm bell 3. Is that enough for now?

Actualy, these are a cut above most offerings because they all look like they've been made from original parts but I believe, just from looking at these photos, that they are all bad to the bone.

I agree... I would be most carefull. I would stay away from the green piped cap. It was probably a Schutzpolizei cap at one time, if even that.

Forgot to mention, the first one, the Officers, has an EM lining, That would be another big alarm bell if the centre band is velvet, which it looks to be.

I really appreciate everyones input. I will go ahead and let you know since someone above had the points about the price. First, I had no idea the SS ones could be that much more in price than the luft. and Heer ones. The seller is a man that lives in Czech Republic in the same town that my fiancee lives in. I work abroad. He has a little shop and sells mostly old russian stuff. Anyway, he emails me these things from time to time when i am out of country, and i don't know how he got ahold of these hats. He has had other stuff in the past, but nothing like this. Thank you everyone for the input. It helped a lot.
