    Latest Generation Fakes?

You all probably saw this "SS generals" visor pop up on ebay recently, which was sold by a seller from Belgium as an original, and some sucker paid $1,000 for it.

Either Janke is now using fold-over sb's, or this is a new faker altogether:

    Close-up of the piping--it is a little loose for a basket-weave.
    Also note the heavy-ribbed Trikot:

Surprisingly enough, the seller gave an under the hood shot:

The other hat he sold was a PL Reichsleitung visor, which went for $300:

Gold-piping for PL indicates a Reichsleiter--the rarest of all PL pipings. Same Trikot wool and semi-loose basket-weave piping:

Buttons and chincord--way too new, but in 20 years, this will be 100% original!

This one has a pretty decent GAH logo, but in the wrong color (and an RZM hat shouldn't have a logo anyway, unless tailor-made):

I am thinking these might be the latest-generation Jankes, with the elimination of the tell-tale reed & chain-stitched sb.

If anyone else runs across any more of these things, please post them here.

I suspect that these are the 'latest'....afterall we continue to EDUCATE them!

                          What a paradox

I have a better one for you. I hope I don't get someone mad for posting it but take a look at the Erel logo. And yes, this visor is indeed bad. You can look forward to this and many more in my new book. LOL
