I agree with Tony too. This is the problem with many museums today... they don't know, they don't give a crap. They figure that they are the experts and 99.9% of the visitors won't know the difference. And when we come through and make a point, we must be stupid or something. I'll bet you MONEY that the museum considers that tropical as 100% original as it came from WWII... any takers?

I also had might doubts on the tropical SS one... So the SS panzer M43 might still be ligit? (as no one commented negatively on it...)
Is that the so-called Pirate trap? Nick

IMHO..
SS tropical has bad eagle at the very LEAST..
SS overseas has bad insignia and may or may not be a real cap..
fez and panzer cap appear to be fine originals..Billbert
