    DAK General M41 cap

Here's another neat cap that I took a picture of while visiting the La Gleize Museum in the Ardennes last December, a DAK General M41 cap! Looks OK? Infantry farbe!

    another view

Here's a view of their tropical theatre "display case" at the La Gleize Museum in the Ardennes. DAK general on top shelf center wedged between the piths! Nice collection!
Note Smoke troops-Nebelwerfer waffenfarbe DAK schiffchen (overseas) cap! Nick

      another shgt

View now to include bottom shelf of their tropical case! Nice Luft officers cap as well and rare blue LW pith helmet!! The General's M41 that started this thread must be the rarest of the bunch! Enjoy! Nick

I agree, looks decidedly dodgy to me as well.

The Heer General's M 40 is not authentic. I doubt the Luftwaffe officer's M 41 is good either, but need a close up judge better.

The blue-grey helmet is the French made version, not as rare as the German blue-grey sun helmets.

                I would echo those sentiments.

Honestly, the best thing about La Gleize is the Tiger tank in front of the museum (I wish to hell they'd put it indoors) and the village itself - not so much the museum. I used to enjoy going up there with my "Then & Now" book and taking pictures of my son in front of the landmarks that are still there.
