    Justiz Verwaltung-Justice Administration M43 cap

Justiz Verwaltung-Justice Administration M43 cap for review. Court baillif and prison guards, in case you missed it... as it was previously posted in the Police section.
If it turns out to be post war that's OK, see final picture of complete uniform, that's why I purchased it!
Still a neat filler item if indeed dubious! (it came without the eagle). Waiting for comments! Nick

Maker info. A well made cap from an obscure (smaller) maker apparently.
Here is a link to a 1936 LW visor with same maker info...

            Nick,
I like the Justice stuff as well. I'm pretty sure your cap is post war, but it does make a good filler. Here are some pics of mine.

                  Nick,

This is not the wartime regulation cap. The 1942 regulations show a cap without any buttons on the flap and a single cockade where the butons are. There is also no piping shown, so I would suspect that it is postwar. The cap might also be postwar Hamburg Schutzpolizei with the Hamburg maker label.

That was my hunch...but at least my tunic is real and the mannequin is not bare headed! Thanks!
Maybe one day I can score a nice justice visor...(like DougO's) but this "filler piece" will have to do for now! Thanks for sharing your fabulous display DougO. Justice is indeed an obscure "branch"!

Springfeil is not all that obscure, and he continued to make visors after the war. I am not on top of M-43's, but my gut tells me postwar.
We had a long thread on Justice Officials (and Prison Officials) on the forum about 4 months ago--it is a complex topic, and a reference book is overdue.
