Luft Visor Blue Wool Removable Top!

This appears to be a removeable top for an Officer's Luft Visor. Gorgeous Eagle, some mothing to the top...

..shame I d'ont have the rest of the visor..

inside, behind where eagle is attached......you can see the piping is made of white cord with the siver wire wrapped around it...

.....are these uncommon??? would they have been available to interchange with the white-top versions??
