Army M43 Cap from a novice

This one came to me in a part trade and it is something which I know very little about. I've tried comparisons to others on the forum and see points which, to me, give it a strong possibility of being original. I thought it best to check with collectors who have seen more of these than I ever will.
Thanks for looking and your comments

Maker markings. I have to admit, I am a bit surprised to see a '44 dated cap with maker markings and not an Rbnr as expected. Looks to be Lago.

If any more pics are needed, just let me know what to photograph.
            Thank you.

Not a good one IMO Mark. Check out Ron's M43 to compare...

Not sure I would be comfortable with that one at all, but can't say with certainty from those pictures. Atypical if Original.

I was half way out the door when I saw this one this morning. The markings put me right off initially but after looking again, it could ok. Very long button holes aren't they?!
