    Gents--

    We have had a slow-down in the display of civil headgear--let's see your ReichsFinanzVerwaltung (Customs) headgear, (and uniforms) in this thread.

    I will start off with my Officers, which is (gasp!) NOT in stonemint condition--this baby was worn, and worn hard:

      Other side. Customs has a distinctly lighter shade of green wool compared to Forestry (and I have seen Forstdienst visors re-badged as customs):

        Interior shot. Most Customs that you see for Officers are NCO upgrades. This one is an Officers, in that it has a pale-green silk lining, which has discolored due to wear:

              Carl Isken made only Zivilmutzen during the TR, and where really a minor player during that era. They survived the war, and you will see many BRD hats with the acronym "Isko".

                  I love Customs eagles for their size and their design. This one still has its frosting, and as Craig Gottlieb would say, is "jewel quality.":

                        Like a lot of late-war Polizei visors, this Customs NCO has silver pebble-finished officer's chinstrap buttons (I guess that during wartime, they were anticipating a lot of rapid promotions!):

                          Interior shot. This hat is a late-war Schellenberg. Most unissued Customs NCO caps I have seen were all made by Schellenberg--I would assume that US troops raided an RFV depot somewhere:

                              I have come to the conclusion that Schellenberg only used this logo for their Zivilmutzen. The hat has an orange-chintz lining, and the visor is thin Vulkanfiber with no crosshatching. The sb is Alkor. There is no Stirndruckfrei system, although the hat is padded:
