Ben they go both ways. Some have a fixed lining and some the lining with logo and sheild are part of the top.

Hi Ben and NTZ,

Since I've never owned one of these before, I did not know that the sweat shield/lining can be separated from inside the removable top.

I just turned it around and repositioned it correctly in the removable top. Then reinstalled the removable top to the rest of the visor cap using the snap. Hope that makes sense!
