There Erel vented cocade is a multi-piece device!!

The main componants are of course the stamped sheet metal but the there are 2 (two) stiff pressed board or pressured cardboard 'washers' and the METAL screen.

Dave you lost me, I have never seen one off the cap. Do you have one to post?

Nick, I don't...but they are just spacers that hold the screen in place!
I'm sure that someone here has an example!

This is not an repro corcade! EREL had sold this type of corcade.
I had 2 original caps with exact this type of corcade.
It is and 100% originall.

I must see if I can find a picture for this in my old archiv.

Hi Lothringen,

it's an original for me too, but as offen... dealers are not a reference ...
Any years ago I bought a SA dagger, this one was so clean... the dealer thought that it was a fake (80€).
In France if that is'nt mity nor rusted, it's obviously a FAKE
