    Looking for Ways to Display Your Visors?

    Sorry for the commercial interruption, but if you have visors that need mounting for display, including subtle turned bases and full headliners, I suggest you contact skipgreenwade@hotmail.com. His products (made personally) are perfect for everyday display of your best stuff. Available in different heights and finishes. I have ordered, and am MOST satisfied.

    Does he do anything in LOW-PROFILE glass? I use only glass display heads, and I have been searching for something in a lower profile for quite some time . . .

    If i could find a way to saw-cut the head at just below eye-level, I would be quite pleased!

      First 2 photos courtesy of Skipper Greenwade;
      I received the one far left and fits ontop of my shelving fine, Hats or helmets. Top notch construction. I'll be getting a few more shortly. Great stuff Skip. Keep up the good work.

        pedestals range in different styles. The more you buy the cheaper they get.

          The platform is not shown but you get the idea.

            Tahnks, as always, to everyone for the kind words.

            Just returned from the Fort Worth show where the stands were very well-received. Good show, too, BTW. my best guess is that there were over 300 tables there. Great way to spend a weekend

            Best,

              I saw Skips wares at the Ft. Worth militaria show and they are VERY nice to display your hats. I will be placing a few orders with Skip in the near future. I only wish I didn't blow my whole wad at the show.

                bmac - welcome to the Forum. Skip - have you considered a low-profile stand? The base model works perfectly to around 48 inches, but above that, it gets leggy, and does not work at all for (say) caps displayed on a shelf at 5 or 6 feet or more - the spreader starts to show, and it looks gangly. I have reduced the height of several of mine by about half, and it works much better (easy to do).
