I just get this haube from an attic in germany:
Its look like a german fliegerhaube, just without earphones. Under the side flaps (stud on it), there is one-one hole on each side.
With the opening the flaps, you can hear better, or you can use earphones (i think)
It is maybe for glider pilots?
The only confirmation mark for the wartime manufacture is the snap stud : PRYM 6
I think this is a wartime stud.
Can anyone help me, what is the exact type of this haube.
No label or stamp inside.
