    Signals em visor

Here is another recent buy, my signals enlisted mans visor.
Under the sweatband is marked, cannot make it out, just the date 23-8-35.
Very early pre war visor in very nice condition. Chinstrap is a little rough but everything else is there.
    Comments welcome on possible maker.
    Regards,
    Gary

Clemens Wagner cap I think. The stamp looks like an acceptance mark.

                        Very nice cap Gary

I have a little question;is it because of the insignia, that you can teel it's a pre war visor,or are there other signs on a cap to see it's pre war?

                        Thanks,
                        Jeremy

                          Thanks guys
To answer your question Jeremy, in post #7 the stamp is dated for 1935.
The war did not officially start until 1939.
                          Regards,
                          Gary

I'm with Ben on this one - I'm pretty sure it's a CW cap - hope you can make it out in the sunlight. Wagners are probably my favorite contract caps.

thanks Gary,I was aware of that.

What I meant was, this type of insignia is nickel right? Weren't these nickel insignias mostly pre war?
