If you follow and try and date changes in Erel/Lubstein production as I have over the years you will see something that is a bit odd. The foiling on early (1930’s) visors are a bit rougher and not as crisp. Then the 1940-43 foiling is nice and crisp and clean. Sometime from 43 on it went back to the rough foiling with the tendency to flake off. My guess is he changes chemicals a few times. The best logos for crispness and a complete non-flaked logo will be found on your 40-42 visors. Just my little observation.
