Back of inside !
The very thin "white" ends that goes around in the "black" part of leather band is some kind of Wood , and very thin and round . Dont know what kind of wood .

Is this a known maker of Visor Caps ? .......................Yes.
And is the maker mark correct for War time items ?......No.
And is this Visor orignal ??? .....................................No.

Uncle Nick is correct once again

Note the manner in which the ink has bled under the silkscreen leaving a rough edge to the cartouche...the whole logo looks like it was printed with a potato stamp.
