I want to run this one by the visor gurus as I certainly am not one. Any information is appreciated.
Alteste.....I'm pretty sure. But are the insignia original? I know about the three pronged skull controversy. But is the eagle original?
This hat has been in my collection for over 30 years. Pretty early on I realized it was an early reproduction due to the skull mostly. Now I see these are collectable in there own right.

I will be interested in seeing what it sells for.
Chris, why are the staples there in the front? Are those integral to the construction of these visors. I have seen Altestes without them.
