    Matrosenmutze Cap with Gneisenau Ribbon

    Hiya,
    Can anyone help me to ID the maker of this cap from the faint lettering on the lining. I think i can make out KIEL and below it Aug Geige, private purchase cap? The ribbon is showing its age but i am pretty sure that it is a genuine one along with a KM ribbon.

    I believe this to be August Geiger Mutzenfabrikation Kiel, Danische Str. 24 You can find the info on pages 321 and 322 Of wilkins book. No picture however.
