    What about these ?

    Hallo,
    please I need some information.

    1) Any information about Friedrich Nesemann of Luneburg?
I know that there was a maker with this name but I think that this label probably is a fake:

    2) This oakleaf wreath and national cockade looks me as a fake.
    Am I right or wrong?

    Thank you, enorepap

    1. Stirndruckfrei is spelled wrong in your example (stirndruckfreie). I would go with a fake on this one.

    2. Is this wreath on this cap?

Stirndruckfreie is less commonly used, but is correct.

I saw this cap on ebay--I have never seen this maker, but from the limited pix, the hat looks period--its just a question as to whether it has had any postwar work done to it.

If using the Stirndruckfrei system, did the manufacture have to mention anything about the Patent as well?

What kind of sweatband did it have?

            Hallo,
no! They come from two different visors.

Yup that looks like a wrong sweatband to me.

                  Friedrich Nesemann of Lueneburg

Friedrich Nesemann of Lueneburg was my great-great-grandfather. I am no expert on militaria but the printing looks exactly like the lettering my grandfather used and like I have seen it on the only surviving hat-box from my great-great-grandfather that we own.

I would actually be very happy if anybody would sell me a cap or hat that he did since not a single example survived in our family.

Thank you very much, with my best regards,
                  KNesemann

KNesemann, welcome to the forum ! That was an interesting contribution & I am sure everyone would appreciate seeing pictures of that hat box you still own. Such attention may also bring you closer to your goal of finding a visor made by his company...

                    Best regards... Kurt
