HG Panzer M43?

I've had this cap in my collection for a while, but never thought to show it. Until now.

Supposed to have come out of Russia,look at the stamps inside on the crown.

Your opinions would be really appreciated.

Glenn, thats a "Carl Halfar" M43. The eagle looks like it might be re-applied because it should be a machine zig-zag but this is what an M43 by that maker should look like.

Does anyone else have any images of another M43 by this maker we can compare with

I believe they held a contract to make M43's for the Luftwaffe so black HG would not be impossible,

Well Chris, I have seen these exact hats before (and in Heer--W-SS versions as well),all showing the same heavy exterior wear,markings,linings,repairs etc with all of the interiors being like new or almost new.
