Hi Stonemint
I have had the same idea about the LLD logo. It does look like a very distinctive building (a skycraper?) with a letter (maybe F ) superimposed. This could be the first evidence for starting a research about the maker's office.
I have seen the threads about the hochste leistung and deutsche wertarbeit. I will try to detect some information about them (at least I hope so...)
Finally, I will post some shots of my KUTRIKA as soon as possible
best regards

I am bringing this thread back to the top, as we now know Oskar Hertlein of Erlingen was the maker, and this maker just recently came up in discussion on the bogus SS visor.
Here is a Hertlein I have on a DRP 1st style visor--note that they always use a waterproof yellowish top-panel lining, and the side linings are in contrast:Attached FilesNEC SOLI CEDIT

Now, the Recruiting visor in this thread (post #2) does have the blurred floral pattern to which Big Daddy K so rightly refers. But if you look at Theos LW visor in post 19, it has the same floral pattern as the PL visor above. IMHO, the floral-pattern logo was used wartime by Hertlein, and most likely was reserved for their Extramutzen.
Does anyone else have any floral pattern Hertlein visor logos to post?NEC SOLI CEDIT
