      Well done my friends

      It matches perfectly the ERLANGER STADTWAPPEN:
      upper left: a red eagle bearing a black&white shield;
      upper right: a black eagle bearing the ES ciphers;
      lower shield: a gilt lion

      I will post a model as soon as possible

      best regards. enorepap

          Stonemint,
          That one was by matching the logo in a political cap to its RZM tag, (and keeping lots of stuff filed).

              Hallo!
              Here are three logos that have always intrigued me:

              I think this is from Ruhland of Passau

              ***

              These are two different labels (silver and gilt) from LLD

              ***

              Last an unknown label ....... maybe a fantasy one?

              Thank you and best regards, enorepap

                Mystery Maker

                Was the Erlandgen company a contract company? I have seen this logo on an several visors. A SS visor, a Medical, and a Heer as well.

                  Enorepap--The LLD is somewhat common, and appears to indicate a building maybe?

                  Here is another mystery maker: Hochste Leistung:

                    And another mystery maker commonly seen (they continued to make BW caps after the war):

                      Hi Stonemint

                      I have had the same idea about the LLD logo. It does look like a very distinctive building (a skycraper?) with a letter (maybe F ) superimposed. This could be the first evidence for starting a research about the maker's office.

                      I have seen the threads about the hochste leistung and deutsche wertarbeit. I will try to detect some information about them (at least I hope so...)

                      Finally, I will post some shots of my KUTRIKA as soon as possible

                      best regards

                        I am bringing this thread back to the top, as we now know Oskar Hertlein of Erlingen was the maker, and this maker just recently came up in discussion on the bogus SS visor.

                        Here is a Hertlein I have on a DRP 1st style visor--note that they always use a waterproof yellowish top-panel lining, and the side linings are in contrast:

                          Here it is on an PL visor--this is the more "floral" type pattern:

                            Here is the DRB on the left, and the Political on the right:

                              Now, the Recruiting visor in this thread (post #2) does have the blurred floral pattern to which Big Daddy K so rightly refers. But if you look at Theos LW visor in post 19, it has the same floral pattern as the PL visor above. IMHO, the floral-pattern logo was used wartime by Hertlein, and most likely was reserved for their Extramutzen.

                              Does anyone else have any floral pattern Hertlein visor logos to post?

                                More of these fake Hertleins have been floating around of late--here is an SS from the other thread:
