The only thing I don't like is the visor brim - were they ever black like this?

Hello,

Don´t get confused by the color of the visor....
Most of the EM/NCO vsiors have the traditional green,crosshatched underside,that´s true....



But I have seen luft.visors with a black underside and no crosshatching.....
I have a luft.officers´visor with such a visor...it´s made of pressed cardboard .





There are also some luft.visors with the traditional army style visors on it....
Such as this EM/NCO Flight visorcap...



Just be sure that the visor isn´t plastic and replaced (check the stiching of the visor to the sweatband,do all the small holes line up with eachother ?)

Btw,

The peak of your visorcap looks very similar to the one I have in my collection.
Is there a metal stiffener inside the color piping ?
Not the best picture,but you can see the same pinch in the peak of my visorcap.

I don't have any problem with the cap originally posted, but you can find better caps in better condition for reasonable prices--isn't there one on the e-stand right now?

I agree, save up your money for a nicer one.
