    "Fewegla" Mystery Solved!

Many of you probably have hats with this logo, and the word "Fewegla" above it:

Well, its FElix WEissbach of GLAchau (Fewegla)--a common mfr of both civil, political, and Wehrmacht visors--RZM Hersteller #27. I don't know why it took me so long to figure this out--I'm slipping!

Here is the logo w/o the acronym:

Another Fewegla variant--note the 1/2 moon stirndruckfrei system:

Here is an odd variant Weissbach logo on an early SA kepi. "Rosshaar" simply means "horsehair".

Maybe the horsehair is impregnated into the wasserdict lining--who knows.

            It is definately a Fewegla:

Excellent work, Chris! And the original receipt posted by Erel adds an historic touch.

                  Well done gents!
