medical crusher - attic find

today my friend gave me this very salty cap. he found it on attic few years ago. strange was the fact of this cap have got peak made in splinterpattern material. from years wich this cap spend in closet - peak has been lost - and I have got only this cap.

I think that is an medical crusher - Am I right?

maybe someone meet with crushers with peak made in splinter?
on one of photos you can see holes from cocarde wich was sewn to cap

Medical visor

The material that cap is made of looks identical to that of a cap a friend of mine owns. I had never seen another visor made with this type of denim like material before.

These would make a great set of before and after pictures. Before the attic...and 60 years later after retrieval from the attic.
