Sorry, but the cap is not on my hands. I´m thinking to buy it but finaly I don´t know what I´ll do. The opinions are not possitives.

In theory yes, a good observation and a possiblity in some cases (because of the grommet), but in this case based on the shape (not "boat" shaped), its clearly not a converted M42... Nick

Based on my comments on this hat, I don't think I said it was a converted M42.
