I have the chance to purchase this visor cap, but I thougth I would get some opinions on it before I jumped. It looks correct to me, but I do not want to let my own ideas cloud reality.

Hello Gentlemen,
In my opinion, the identification of this cap as a reproduction is based solely on the maker mark be used on my current reproduction visor caps. The materials used do not appear to be the same as the curretn reproduction caps, in particular the ersatz sweatband material. The fact that the cap is in excellent condition does not mean the cap is new. I have had plenty of visor caps which have been un-issued or lightly worn and appear for condition and quality like they were made yesterday.
