A Bundeswher edelweiss normally has 4 attachment holes (like the one in your link)...the one attached to Jaegermeister's cap has the correct wartime amount of 5.

Hmm, I might just be paranoid but there's something about this bird that doesn't seem right but I can't put my finger on it yet. Anymore opnions?

For what I see, it's all correct.
The Edelweiss is a correct high quality one, absolutely NO problems there
The brown buttons are not made of the standard Steinnuss. I believe these to be made of metal, some how colored brown. Sometimes seen on private purchased caps.
The cap itself look fine also. Very nice quality.
The only point that could get me worrying is the partial gray leather sweatband. I'm kind of allergic to that color as many copies feature this style. But given the rest of this cap .... No problem.

I my opinion a very nice Officer private purchase Bergmütze.

            Congratulations

            Bart

Thank you all for the comments. I'm a happy man, now I'll try to find a nice officer tunic to go with the cap.

                I like it also!

Looks all OK, also the flatwire T-trapezoid.
