KM M43 cap question

Gentlemen -

I just did a deal on an "out of the woodwork" KM M43 cap today (so it's not here yet and therefore no pics avialable yet). It's an enlisted one, put it has a partial leather sweatband inside. My understanding is that this feature was reserved for officer models, but this is absolutely an EM version.

Also... I know these are pretty rare caps. The ones on Collector's Guild always go for $800+ in nice shape. Would the leather sweatband add value to a nice EM cap?

The french made ones often have sweatbands..I dont think it really affects pricing one way or another..I would say lack of sweatband is something encountered in army/SS caps more than navy and luft caps..JMHO..Billbert

If it looks like this, then it is the standard Coastal Artillery EM M43 hat.

The cap arrived today!

I can't make out the manufacturer, but it looks to be the same as hcliffe's cap. I am really happy with this!
