These are pictures I took earlier with lessor gear than I have now, so they are not as good (in my opinion) as the more recent photos I have put up. I am doing it this was to save time. I will start with a group shot, and go from there. Also included in this group is the companion to the SS visor I posted earlier........I forgot I got it from the vet too when I made the earlier post. I have had several guys say they would replace to badly worn skull, but I never even considered doing that for one instant. It is the way it came, and is a victim of use.

Cap that came with the SS visor. The vet said he also took this one from the SS officer they captured in the PO Valley.
This one came early one morning, right before dawn using a flashlight, at the Mainz fleamarket by the Dom for 1 mark. The button is one I found to put on it, but I am not sure if it is original or the right one. The cap was totally stripped except for the inside label, and I have never gotten the correct insignia for it.
This one on close exam appears to have a double side eagle, two stacked. Maybe they just stuck together at the time of application or maybe it was done for some other purpose. Don't know.
The next pair are local vet acquisitions from many many years ago.......close to 50 in fact.
Again, I am sorry these pictures are not as good and the colors are a little off.
