More of what? This cap, or others? If it is this cap, there is not much more. It has what I would call a burnt orange liner with a damaged sweatshield and a size marked. Under the sweatband there is a stamping that I cannot read, maybe later I can try to get a picture of it to see if I can read that.

I would be very interested in seeing the stamping on the underside of the sweatband...hopefully a unit acceptance mark. If this visor had no Edelweiss, I would certainly take that shade of green for an administrative cap. (Not saying it is not GBJ...and not wanting to restart the great shades of green debate.)

Actually the photo depicts the piping color darker than it is. I shot with a flash and TTL. Due to the reflection of the bright metal insignia for light metering they were a bit washed out so I used less exposure to show detail in them and as a result the other part were made a bit darker.

Here is the best I can do with shooting the stamp......sorry it is not a unit marking.........appears to be likely a maker stamp.

Yes, the maker appears to be Clemens Wagner of Braunsweig. I have the exact same marking in an enlisted medical visor. Too bad no unit acceptance marks.

Yes I confirm CLEMENS WAGNER Braunschweig maker mark clearly readable.
                          Super cap Ron

                            Ron,
Is the piping color actually more like it is shown in the corner of the 4th photo of post #11? That shade I'd be very comfortable with being GBJ. Nice cap!

Yes, it is. On that one I let fire with the flash directly because there was no metal to show up too bright, no darker drama effect.
