                Heres another one, by a different manufacturer.Nice crisp stamping. I'm fairly certain the hats good. WR Jim

                  Yep, my apologies. I guess I'm trying to compare it to the usually smeared and often faint stamps one can find in the M43 style hat. The Berg is a style that has virtually disappeared from the marketplace.

                    Ron, nice cap. Here is mine I found it with the guys matching GJ tunic. Both have very heavy wear. It sure is something special. Jacques

                          Here's mine... one of my favorite pieces actually! This cap was in a long-established collection for many years and I just got it a few months ago. The Austrian unit edelweis and the 5th pin have been on it since the original owner got it from the vet's family. Take a look at the liner... it was grey originally and a second liner was added (well done machine sewing too). Reason unknown, but wartime done. Enjoy!
