Early Erel HJ cap

What can you tell me about this early Erel cap, i.e. years of use, what piping represented, etc.. Also do you have an idea of present worth?

Ron--I'm rusty on my HJ caps, but I believe this is the 1932-34 model for the ranks of Kameradschaftsfuhrer to Unterbannfuhrer. It looks like your piping is actually crimson, which would indicate Major District Staff Personnel, which would make it quite rare. If it is just faded red, then it would just indicate the continent (Europe).
