    Acquired in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1981.

                      Nice cap Ron, I see it has the overlapped piping. I kind of like that touch. That is only the second or third one I have seen.

                          I can't remember ever seeing crown piping on a visor hat ever attached this way. Thought it might have been upgraded.

                            Very nice. It's a "one looker" IMO. The piping is interesting, and this sort of connection has been discussed in several threads on Waffenfarbe.

                              Are all three piping lines joined in this manner or just the top? That's the first time I've seen that on an original cap, but it makes me wonder why, especiallyif it's only the top line of piping.
