    Luftwaffe EM/NCO's Flight

    Hello,
I posted this a while back shortly after its restoration but I have some better photos I'd like to share. When I got this it was soiled, bent out of shape and missing its eagle. First I removed the chinstrap and wreath, then lightly vacuumed the cap. Then held the visor and band area over a steaming pot of water and gently shaped the visor and band back into shape. Then I made a shaping band out of cardboard that helps keep the band in shape. The outside is in fairly good shape but the interior has seen better days.
The thing I like best is the saddle shape of it, I think the little guy turned out fairly well First photo is the before.

Thanks Gene and Bill I was lucky when I found this cap, I also picked up a Perkuo Arty. Officers visor that needed the visor tightened up.
