Back in the newbie time, I started out with a couple of one-look Luft EMs and a few years later...... they're the ones that survived the purge.
My only other Luft visor is this pretty flight branch example that is 1937 dated and unit stamped to a bomber group who flew Dorniers and Junkers JU88s during the Battle of Britian time period.
Hat has a nice floppy NCO look. The retaining wire and sweatshield looks to have been period removed.
Also of note..... it is a rare 1/2 size. Probably a pre-war attention to detail that wasn't seen later on.
