    Can anyone tell me a realistic value for this police officer's Tschako? Is it correct that it in an upgarded E.M. Tschako? Looking forward to your responses. Thanks!

          Your tschako indeed was upgraded.

          This was however something that sometimes was done wartime.
          I have a piece of regulation somewhere detailing the fact that certain Offiziers-Anw******228;rter were allowed to add the Schuppenkette to their Tschako.
          If in your case this also was so I cannot tell.

            I agree, NCO upgrade, and probably wartime, as the fittings look tight.
            As for prices, they are all over the place--Maederer has an upgrade on his site, and a mint officers for around 2500--but I didn't pay anywhere near that for my Gendarmerie Officers.
