    Markings in a DAK Side Cap

    Hi Guys,

    What the heck are all those numbers for??? (not talking about the size and RB#)

    43 could be the date but the rest???

    43 is date for sure..other numbers are probably run/lot numbers or possibly lago/run numbers..Billbert

      Good question, I have often wondered that and to-date have never meet any-one who knew for sure.

      My theory so far is that they are two sets of RB numbers as part of a Lago-type manufactured cap.
      The 43 part is the year of manufacture however.

      What do others think ? Chris

        Not sure of the "extra" numbers but I surmise the hat is a "Hans Brandt" Manufacture.

          The other spots a similiar style occurs is in some HJ flak caps and an occasional LW m43 ...Billbert
