Black Panzer Side Cap Opinions plz

I just got offered this Panzer Side Cap with some other items. I have no use for it but would take it if it's ok because of the other items and pass it on. What is your opinion on it?

I do not see anything that makes me think it would be a reproduction. It looks good to me.
Does it appear to have had pink soutache at one time?

Yes, indeed, there is some pink lint where one end would have been, and a couple of open stitches where the other end used to be.

This looks like a nice honest EM sidecap. Grommets look okay, as does the lining. The only marking in mine is a headsize stamp.
Is the national eagle sewn through the lining? It should not be. I wonder if the Adler is a reapplied original? The style of eagle is correct for a cap that would have had a soutache. Apparently the owner of this one was good about following the regulations.

Eagle is hand applied and is not sewn thru the liner. I have already told the guy that I will take it together with the rest of the deal. So thanks to all for your help.
