For some times ago i bought a side hat from an American dealer (snyders)
He told me that the hat had belonged to someone in Ali Cremers mens
neigbourhod.
This information has he got from some dealer i Hamburg.
Inside the hat there is a tag with the name Jakobs but according to my
information no one with name Jakobs served on U333.
The name Jakobs can i find among 9 other Jakobs with that spelling.
At least 60-70% was killed in action so their hats has surley disappear
somewhere in the occeans. I assume that mr Snyder will hot up the story
about the hat with the connections with Cremer but it would be nice to find
my Jakobs and the story behind. Any clues out there?

what king of tag is in the hat...cloth or paper? Snyder is a bad guy and I wouldn't put it past him to fake a U-boat connection to pump up a sale. Could you post pix of the cap?
