billed tropical KM cap

This lovely salty Kriegsmarine tropical DAK or Italian theatre cap came to me today via Canada this morning and it is far better than I expected ,it has that nice waxy semi stiff feel to it and a nice bit of sweat staining and wear and tear ,Hope you like it too .I have put a circle of cardboard on the inside to keep the shape .Rob

I do like it alot! One used to see these fairly frequently... they have now dried up!

by the looks of it, far more likely Italian theatre rather than DAK.

Very nice cap. I Like the Rb stamp and interior. Is tropical KM service not DAK.
Could have been to Tunisia, more likely was picked up in Italy by 8th Army vet.

As I recall, a small stash of these showed up at the SOS and MAX about 7-10 years ago. They were all minty (this one shows age at the grommets). However, they were original. Price at the time was about $450... Anyone remember that?
