    Post Any Repro/Fake (non-Janke) Labels

    Gentleman:

I thought I had started a thread on repro/fake labels of (NON-Janke) wartime maker logos--I searched, and apparently I hadn't. So, this one is overdue--here is a Schellenberg fake:

And this will serve as my verdict on the A-SS black-piped white-top--Silver Muller logo:

This is on a repro SS visor, but I believe it was a wartime maker--a real label is in Vol. I, p. 233 of the Moran book:

This is from a guy that do not want to learn( Nick......) in italian forum.
It is a fantastic copy of Feldgendarmerie CW,the outside is real welldown but inside are the problems. The logo is not proply well copied and the swatband and his stitchin are not of CW way,the insigna seems good.

That is one of the best repros I ever seen. The CW logo is a dead give away. The tag states it is waterproof. I had a Janke long ago with the same waterproof tag. This one is much nicer.

If it wasn't marked as a CW, and didn't have the spring tag, it would be much tougher to spot w/o a hands-on. The logo is an easy "tell", but it also lacks the typical CW "Erstklassig"-class characteristics--however, the outside is a stunner.

I want to say a Janke with a little "re-work".

Thanks for posting this, Carlo--and if any other WAF members see any other questionable visors on any non-English speaking forums, please post them here.
